Mission Statement:

Following Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd who is Priest Prophet and King, and responding to the need of the Church, the Pastoral Ministry of Patna Province aims at collaborating with the bishops, priests and laity in building up the Church and furthering the Reign of God in the different dioceses where the sisters are engaged.

The integral approach to pastoral ministry in the province is to care, protect and form the People of God at various levels through-

1. Family visits for counselling and reconciliation
2. Visits to the sick and dying in solidarity and compassion
3. Preparing children, youth and adults for the reception of Sacraments
4. Imparting moral and spiritual values through Sunday and School catechism
5. Leadership training for youth, women and parish teams.

Pastoral ministry is the care and leadership of people within the church. It is a vocation that requires compassion, wisdom, and a deep understanding of people. Pastoral ministry is a way to serve others and make a difference in their lives. All the Sisters, in whatever ministry we are involved in , we have a responsibility for the faith formation of the children under our care. IN addition to this we have a few Sisters who are full time in Pastoral Ministry, involved in the activities of the parish and the diocese
